The use of state of the art analytical equipment allows Sims Metal Management to understand the composition of scrap they are purchasing, thereby providing high quality feedstock for foundries as well as ensuring that scrap producers are realistically rewarded for more valuable scrap.

Sims Metal Management also sells a wide range of semi finished raw material product. These products include antimony ingot, arsenic, specification secondary copper and brass foundry ingot, ferro-alloys, lead ingot, primary aluminium ingot, silicon metal, tin and zinc ingot.
