Sims Metal Management operates  a secondary aluminium smelter, plastics recycling facilities, electronic recycling and asset recovery plants. Sims Metal Management also is a 50% shareholder in LMS Generation Pty Ltd a pioneer and leader in the field of power generation from landfill gas and a joint venture partner in Australian Refined Alloys which operates battery recycling plants.
